The name of the company, bsirk, is an acronym for 'body shaping and injury rehabilitative kinesiology'.

Our founder, Bruce Tisdale, holds many advanced certifications in fitness and personal training. He is one of Toronto's most experienced personal trainers and has provided several television appearances and seminars on fitness to both local, national and international audiences (see professional seminars or the 'News and Media' tab for further details).   Bruce has been coaching since 1984 and actively involved with sports since 1969.  He has also designed or improved several of down town Toronto Health Clubs' Fitness and Personal Training Programs.  He has the experience of participating in athletics at the Varsity level at the University of Western Ontario from 1984 -1988.  In his professional career he has worked with professional and amateur athletes, local and international film, television and theatre industry professionals, fashion models, health club members, in home clients, luxury hotel guests, motor vehicle accident patients and sports injury patients.
